Scottish mountaineering 2010 gallery:

41 photos, published 18th August 2010
Our first time Winter mountaineering without a guide, this trip provided us all with a steep learning curve, as well as plenty of laughs. Deep snow made for dangerous avalanche conditions which pushed us out of the easy gullies we had planned on doing, and onto harder buttress routes! Stand-out routes were Curved Ridge (III) and Quartzvein Scoop (IV). According to the rules, all climbs had to be completed in the "twilight"... There is also a gallery of walking the Ballachulish Horseshoe, from the same trip.Sizes: small medium
