New ROCKFAX Western Grit

Due for publication in April 2009 is the new ROCKFAX guidebook to Western Grit. A major upgrade to the award-winning 2003 edition, it ranges from the popular Staffordshire gritstone edges of the Roaches, Hen Cloud and Ramshaw up onto the remote Kinder and Bleaklow moorland crags. Also contained are the superb Chew Valley edges, the best of the Lancashire crags and the fine sandstone buttresses on Merseyside of Helsby, Pex Hill and Frodsham.
The big news for me is that one of my photographs is being used on the front cover 
The shot is of Meilee Rafe on the excellent Commander Energy (E2) on the Roaches Lower Tier.
Update May 2009: The new guidebook has just been delivered, and it looks stunning! Another quality production from ROCKFAX. There are a total of 6 of my photos in the guide, including some from Tom Randall's ascent of the evil Ray's Roof at the Baldstones. Click below to see the full gallery.
